Interviews are a two-way street. It's as important for you to get a sense of the company as it is for the company to get a sense of you.
Therefore, we recommend closing an interview by exploring the company's culture. Ask about the team structure, probe about whether people hang out with one another, and - perhaps most importantly - take a good look at the people you meet, even in passing. Do they look happy? Is the vibe something that you feel and like?
And, while some people may consider this a throw-away question, think about the fact that you may spend more time in a given week in the office than with your family and friends. What's your gut say about whether this place is the right fit for you? Then, trust it.
